Yoga for Muscle Recovery

For some people, yoga doesn’t naturally come to mind when thinking about workouts. But yoga can be complementary to all types of training; whether you’re into running, spinning, weightlifting, CrossFit, HIIT, and more. Regardless of your training, yoga can support your breathing control and muscle recovery when practiced regularly.

Practicing yoga directly after a workout alleviates overall tension, expands blood flow to your muscles, and ensures oxygen and nutrients energize your tissues. If you dedicate the last five to ten minutes of your workout, choose three to five yoga poses that can help aid deep relaxation, allowing your muscles to recover more efficiently.

When you gently increase circulation to muscles, as you do while moving through yoga poses and focusing on breathing, oxygen is carried with it. Being purposeful with your breathing like this can therefore help you feel energized again and ready to tackle your next workout.

We recommend making Tribal Restore part of your weekly workout routine.
